Poem- Ode to My Beach

My little beach,

So perfect and sweet

Cannot be ruined

By the prints made from our feet.

My little beach,

Waves as blue as the sky

Do you not realize,

That you are only mine?

My little beach,

As innocent as a child,

I only know

Of your temper, so mild.

My little beach,

My only friend.

Don’t you know,

You have so much to lend.

My little beach,

As pure as God

Makes people stare,

In unmistakable awe.

My little beach,

If only you could see.

All the delight

You have given me.
